Korbanth LS6 Gullwing Lightsaber Luke ROTJ/TLJ Complete/Assembled Empty Hilt 11

  

This is a listing for a complete and some assembly completed Korbanth LS6 Gullwing ROTJ Hero/V2 saber kit. This is an empty hilt that is FX ready, the electronics included are for display and do not activate any FX features like blade or sound. The are minor and do not distract or ruin the aesthetics of this beautiful saber. NOTE The copper colored rods pieces around the non blade ready inside emitter have a defect.

One of the rods broke while being screwed into place. I have glued it in place and that one cannot be removed without breaking it again. This is purely for looks and has no impact on any saber function, should you choose to install electronics and a LED, there is an included emitter that would replace the one with the glued part that would be needed to house the light source. The photo above shows the glued repair and as you can see, it blends right in.

NOTE The control box LED has a blue color for the front LED, but for some reason the blue is very dim, even with new batteries. I never cared much since the blue is not accurate anyway and as you can see in the above pictures, the red and green are very bright and beautiful. I have already assembled the control box electronics and the illuminated kyber crystal. This is somewhat of a complicated process and my assembly is very well done, but some may not consider it perfect or to their desired liking. I did file down as much as I could to make parts fits as perfectly as possible.

If further photos are desired to show that assembly, please feel free to ask. The control box has various strips of electrical tape, this is intentional and required. If the contacts do not line up perfectly, the LEDs will not turn on. There are many resources that showcase this tricky assembly, but this works and hold in place very tightly.

There is always a back and forth on what is the intended version of this saber, but you can choose which one you support and swap out at any time. It has a triple crystal reveal feature, there are 2 of the more common twist to reveal sections and there is a set of magnetically latched doors that open up to reveal the crystal inside as well, this is how it earns the gullwing nickname.

The light up crystal included has 3 color options and all light up very bright and clear. It is fully machined, looks beautiful, and carries a very solid look and feel to it no matter which version you choose to create. I would not be trying to move it had I not finally committed myself to a full FX ROTJ hero style from a saber maker and I cannot justify keeping multiple versions of the same saber.
