Vintage 1983 Topps Star Wars Return Of The Jedi Candy Head Empty Display Box

  

A superb companion piece to put on display, which will greatly enhance, complement and also complete your 1983 Topps Star Wars Return of the Jedi Candy Head set. Additionally, this original box is an amazing addition to any Candy / Bazooka Bubble Gum / Advertisement collection. A hard-to-find box that is in remarkable condition considering the box was produced over 40 years ago! Original Empty Counter Display Box - No Candy, No Candy Head Containers, No packs, No Wrappers, No cards.

Box was acquired during the 1980's for a private collection. The box top lid is Not perforated! Please read Condition - thank you. Featured on the box top lid are Admiral Ackbar Jabba The Hut Ewok Wicket Wystri Warrick Darth Vader Sy Snootles Ewok Nippet.

Box Measurements: 9 3/4" Length x 7 7/8" Wide x 2 1/8 Height. The best representation, as to the overall condition, is each of the listed pictures. The pictures are part of the Condition/Description; you will receive the exact item(s) shown in the pictures.

Colors are vibrant & bold, with a clean, presentable appearance. Nice square corners and no unoriginal markings or writing. The box top lid is not perforated! Only mentioned for accuracy, there is Original tape residue on the right edge and the left edge of the box top lid and Original staples on the Right-side panel and the Left-side panel. Topps issued these boxes with tape to each side of the lid to prevent the candy heads from falling out of the boxes (please see 1st, 9th, 13th picture).

Topps used staples to hold the box together instead of the traditional glue option (please see 8th and 14th picture). To consider, normal wear for a box of this age - slight surface wear and slight edge wear, creasing.

The box top, at the upper right corner and the upper left corner is creased 1 1/16 (please see 1st, 9th, 13th picture). There is wear and creases along the length of the right side (please see 5th, 6th, 7th picture).

The Front Flap is creased along the length of the upper edge and in the middle upper edge (please see 2nd, 3rd, 4th picture). The Right-side panel at the yellow explosion there are surface creases (please see 8th and 9th picture). The Back-side panel along the left edge is creased (please see 11th and 12th picture). The bottom of the box there are 5 surface creases at the four edges (please see 15th picture). The - interior - left and right flaps have slight surface creases.

Inside of the box - the original styrofoam pad protector, plastic candy head container holder and sheet of blank paper are all in Near-Mint condition and included. The candy head container has space for 18 Candy Heads; Candy Heads are not included (please see 16th, 17th, 18th picture). Please view / zoom all 20 pictures.
